Further warranty limitations and exclusions: This warranty does not apply and Spalding assumes no responsibility for any damages or defects that may be due to any one or more of the following: 1) Damage caused by normal wear and tear, negligence, misuse, abuse, non-basketball activities, hanging from rim, vandalism, acts of nature, improper handling or installation or failure to follow maintenance guidelines or instructions in the product owners manual.
